Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Git, with experience training others and troubleshooting issues
- Good understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including experience with configuration, limits, and best practices
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including AWS and infrastructure teams, and maintain effective communication channels
Responsibilities
- Train team members in Git and version control best practices, and provide support for troubleshooting Git issues and CI/CD configurations
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices
- Develop and document best practices for version control and CI/CD, and continually seek to improve these processes
- Work closely with Matlab/Simulink domain experts, testing architects, and the AWS and other infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project support
- Act as a visible, go-to resource for version control and CI/CD topics, facilitating smoother workflows for the Simulink team
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Simulink and SimCaP environments
- An advocate for best practices who can foster improvements in infrastructure workflows
- Interested in supporting and empowering teams over development-heavy tasks, with a mindset open to growing into DevOps
- Solutions-focused with a drive to address and resolve infrastructure challenges promptly
