Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of Git, with experience training others and troubleshooting issues
  • Good understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including experience with configuration, limits, and best practices
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including AWS and infrastructure teams, and maintain effective communication channels

Responsibilities

  • Train team members in Git and version control best practices, and provide support for troubleshooting Git issues and CI/CD configurations
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices
  • Develop and document best practices for version control and CI/CD, and continually seek to improve these processes
  • Work closely with Matlab/Simulink domain experts, testing architects, and the AWS and other infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project support
  • Act as a visible, go-to resource for version control and CI/CD topics, facilitating smoother workflows for the Simulink team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Simulink and SimCaP environments
  • An advocate for best practices who can foster improvements in infrastructure workflows
  • Interested in supporting and empowering teams over development-heavy tasks, with a mindset open to growing into DevOps
  • Solutions-focused with a drive to address and resolve infrastructure challenges promptly
