Remote Infrastructure Product Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE role
• Leadership experience as a technical lead, team lead, or manager and experience working with cloud infrastructure
• Experience and in-depth understanding of Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes
• Comfortable writing complex scripts/services that pull and manipulate data from heterogeneous data sources; REST APIs, databases, flat files, etc

Responsibilities

• Run cross team initiatives and facilitate new technologies adoption such as Kubernetes/Service Mesh and Monitoring/Tracing across engineering squads
• Be on hand during outages to drive their resolution and conduct post-mortems to prevent future occurrences
• Partner with and influence stakeholders to promote simplification, standardization and innovation of new technologies
• Drive overall direction & create short & long term vision for the team’s areas of responsibilities, these include: Support of enterprise server infrastructure, storage and compute systems Cloud systems and services backend Systems monitoring Data management, backup and disaster recovery
