Summary

The Infrastructure SME will strategize and coordinate infrastructure implementation for projects in data centers and substations, collaborating with Value Stream and Delivery Leads. They will develop roadmaps, identify project dependencies, provide insights on infrastructure technologies, and act as an SME for IT infrastructure delivery. The ideal candidate has experience in IT/IS oil and gas sector, operational technology environments, and strong professional skills such as problem-solving and documentation. Requirements

• IT/IS oil and gas experience
• Operational Technology environments an advantage
• Ability to act proactively, escalating as required
• Strong documentation/communication skills (verbal & written)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge and experience of IT change management processes and principles

Responsibilities

• Strategise and coordinate infrastructure implementation for projects in data centers and substations
• Collaborate closely with Value Stream and Delivery Leads
• Develop concise roadmaps for infrastructure aspects of the program
• Identify project dependencies
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations on various infrastructure and platform technologies
• Act as an SME for IT infrastructure delivery
• Produce and complete high level and low-level solution designs
• Identify divergences from best practice within projects and lead resolution processes
• Installation, configuration, administration, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of project solutions prior to production deployment
• Engage with support groups to ensure successful technical go-live and hand over to support
