Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
• Experience: 3+ years as an in-house lawyer or at a law firm, preferably in SaaS, eCommerce, or online companies
• Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of USA law, corporate law, contract law, advertising compliance, IP, and data protection
• Contracts: Skilled in drafting and negotiating various contracts
• Compliance: Proficient in ensuring legal compliance for eCommerce operations
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional detail-oriented approach
• Collaboration: Team player with experience working across time zones
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Legal Analysis: Analyse legal issues, mainly in the USA, and advise managers and teams
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure product and marketing compliance with relevant laws
• Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, guidelines, and notices
• Contract Management: Handle contracts with employees, contractors, clients, and vendors
• Advertising & Product Compliance: Ensure advertising and new products comply with regulations
• Communication: Serve as the legal point of contact for partners, clients, and suppliers
• Knowledge Sharing: Participate in internal calls and share legal updates
• Decision Support: Provide legal input for strategic business decisions
