Summary

Join Sift as an experienced Instructional and Curriculum Designer to create engaging learning experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams. You will design and enhance training programs on our products, services, and fraud prevention best practices. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop interactive learning content. This contract position offers flexible hours, either half-time or full-time. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design and curriculum development to create impactful training programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention industries.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, or a related field
  • Possess 3-5+ years of instructional design and curriculum development experience, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention industries
  • Have experience with e-learning authoring tools (Absorb, Camtasia), LMS platforms, and multimedia design software
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, concise, and engaging training content. Demonstrate excellent collaboration skills and flexibility in approach
  • Have the ability to assess learner needs and develop innovative solutions to drive engagement and retention

Responsibilities

  • Design & Develop engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, virtual training, videos, simulations, job aids, and assessments
  • Create structured learning paths that cater to different personas (customers, partners, and employees) and expertise levels
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with industry best practices in fraud prevention and cybersecurity
  • Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (Absorb), and interactive technologies to enhance learning experiences
  • Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles to develop high-impact training programs
  • Assess training effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and performance data to refine and optimize content
  • Assist in developing certification programs and compliance-based learning initiatives that align with industry regulations and standards
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives and customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with security principles, fraud detection methods
