Summary
Join Rula's Financial Operations team as an experienced Insurance Specialist! You will oversee quality assurance for our benefits verification program, ensuring patients understand their coverage and access affordable care. This critical role involves verifying patient benefits, answering patient questions, and performing quality assurance checks. Your work will directly improve the accuracy and efficiency of our revenue cycle, impacting patients, payers, providers, and internal teams. We are a fully remote company, but this position is not open to candidates residing in California or Washington. Requirements
- 3+ years of Revenue Cycle Billing with an emphasis on verification of benefits
- Associate or Bachelorโs Degree, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with payer portals and insurance benefit terminology (copay, coinsurance, deductible, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality assurance of our verification of benefits program
- Help patients understand their benefits and access affordable care
- Verify patientsโ benefits
- Address patient questions
- Complete quality assurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quality assurance experience
- Tech Savviness / Fluency with Google Suite, Salesforce, ZenDesk, AdvancedMD / EHR, or similar platforms
- General knowledge of behavioral health terminology
- Understanding of Medicare / Medicaid, Medigap, etc
- Willingness to work a Tuesday - Saturday work week
