Integration Engineer

Summary

Join Stripe's Launch team as a Launch Integration Engineer to drive high-quality integrations and accelerate the time-to-go-live process. As a technical consultant, you'll provide pooled technical consultation to users and Launch Managers, guiding them through successful Stripe implementations.

Requirements

• Has 1-3 years of customer-facing experience working as a customer success engineer, integration engineer, solution architect, technical consultant, software engineer or similar role
• Can read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages
• Has experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs
• A great verbal and written communicator, strong presentation skills, comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting to a pooled group of Launch Managers which leads users through technical implementations of products across the Stripe portfolio
• Review and validate user integrations using Stripe APIs
• Advise and document best practices around integrations using Stripe APIs, Stripe products, payments, authorizations and optimizations
• Work closely with Stripe Product & Engineering teams to improve and evolve Stripe products
• Contribute to the development of Professional Services methodologies and tools to accelerate engagements and ease troubleshooting; including tools developed by Professional Services Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude
• Superior time management skills to manage multiple external customers simultaneously
• Self-starter with the ability to assess, troubleshoot and work autonomously to decompose and solve complex problems
• Payments/ ecommerce experience
• Experience working in a Professional Services organization or in a customer success/support organization
