Interim Senior Management Accountant

Summary

The job is for an Interim Management Accountant in a fast-growing startup, StructureFlow. The accountant will prepare monthly management accounts, manage VAT, payroll, team, compliance, and reporting. They must be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with a high level of attention to detail, ability to self-motivate, efficient time management skills, proactive attitude, and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation, including variance analysis and commentary
• Maintain robust controls within the management accounts process
• Responsibility for delivering month-end processes, including posting journals and ensuring ledger accuracy
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to ensure a controlled environment
• Manage accruals and review monthly costs
• Manage VAT reporting and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
• Monthly payroll process, including journal entries
• Support the day-to-day management of accounting
• Ensure adequate segregation of duties and approve payment runs and expenses
