Summary
Join Incognia's Product Management & Design team as a Data Analyst to collaborate with Data Product Managers, supporting analyses for building features used in fraud prevention models and detections. You will extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data; perform exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover patterns and insights; generate clear reports; interact with Data Product Managers; and identify opportunities to improve detection technologies. This role offers growth opportunities as a data scientist and a path toward product management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, experience with Python and SQL, and experience building analytical reports. Advanced English fluency is required due to constant interaction with the US team. Experience with Spark/Scala and knowledge of the fraud/risk/security market are considered pluses.
Requirements
- Complete undergraduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Actuarial Science, or other similar areas
- Advanced or fluent English - will have constant contact with the US team
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with building analytical reports
- Experience and contact with other stakeholders - sales area, data engineering, among others
Responsibilities
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data
- Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to discover patterns, trends, and relevant insights
- Generate insights and build clear and concise reports using data, understanding and communicating the results of the analyses assertively
- Inform, interact and relate to Data Product Managers to supply them with information and provide effective solutions
- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing detections and technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting, reliable locations) and suggest alternatives to optimize results
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software development or with technical products (APIs, SDKs, etc.)
- Experience with Spark/Scala
- Knowledge of the fraud, risk or security market
