Join Mutt Data, a remote startup developing innovative Big Data and Machine Learning systems, as a Business Data Analyst. You will improve business dashboards, analyze company data, and provide insights for decision-making. Requirements
- University degree in Engineering or related bachelor's level
- 2+ years of experience in project management of software outsourcing (experience in Personnel, Time and Materials, and Budgets), in Data Analysis or BI
- Advanced knowledge on Power BI or Tableau
- Intermediate oral and written communication in English
- Experience working with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc) or similar (i.e Office Package)
- Comfortable working with open communication tools such as Slack and ClickUp
- Experience with data handling, analysis, and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize as required
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with autonomy, prioritizing tasks, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Rises to challenges and/or unfamiliar functions with enthusiasm and a proactive attitude
Responsibilities
- Improve our business dashboards, including
- Company-wide performance indicators: quality measures, scorecards, and KPIs (ie: billable hours vs not billable, project-level profitability, etc)
- Revenue and sales funnel: maintain updated information on the revenue forecast, weighting deals in the pipeline
- Performance by project: provide relevant information that will help to make more informed decisions when negotiating new contracts or evaluating new opportunities inside the client
- Finance and collections: provide relevant information needed for billing and cost purposes
- People and talent: provide relevant KPIs to track culture, internal NPS, and hiring process
- Interact with the departments in the company, understand their needs, and turn them into concrete deliverables to upgrade the reporting
- Hand over to each department the daily tasks to maintain each dashboard
- Analyze company data and dashboards, to extract insights and recommend actions
- Assist the Head of BizOps with relevant information and analysis for decision-making and presentations
- Ensure Project Leads report relevant information promptly, and comply with established methodologies and processes
- Help improve team processes and task tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using SQL, Python, and Low Code Platforms (Appsmith)
