Intermediate Software Engineer in Canada

Summary

Ada is a Toronto-based AI-powered customer service automation platform that aims to make every customer interaction resolved by AI. The company has powered over 4 billion automated interactions for brands like Wealthsimple, Canva, AirAsia, Yeti, and Square. As an Intermediate Software Engineer on the Bot Automation team, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to execute Ada’s roadmap and build and improve the AI Agent. The expected salary range is $102,000 to $131,000 CAD.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Backend/Full Stack Developer
• Proficient with backend technologies (Python and Node.js, Javascript is an asset)
• Understanding of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch and in-memory stores such as Redis
• Experience with 3rd party LLMs, such as GPT, Azzure, Anthropic etc
• Experience deploying code and strong developer operations

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external stakeholders, product managers, and designers to execute Ada’s roadmap and iteratively deliver the caller experience for the AI-driven CX platform
• Build and improve Ada’s AI Agent
