Intermediate Test Engineer Automation (C#)

You will design, execute, and maintain comprehensive tests to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability. This role involves a blend of manual and automated testing, utilizing C# and Playwright. Collaboration with international stakeholders is key, requiring excellent communication skills. The position offers a comfortable remote work environment and is open to candidates in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in test automation and 1+ year of hands-on experience with C#.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with C#
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests using Playwright
• Practical experience testing REST APIs with Postman
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and OOP principles
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with manual testing
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including collaborating with international stakeholders
• Proactive and self-managed mindset with the ability to take initiative and suggest improvements
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using C# and Playwright
• Test REST APIs using Postman and validate backend functionality
• Perform manual testing to ensure software quality and enhance automated testing efforts
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in test planning and contribute to test strategy development
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the team to resolve issues
• Create and maintain clear, detailed test documentation
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve QA processes, tools, and practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end (E2E) testing
• Familiarity with relational databases, specifically Oracle
