Join Fidelity & Guaranty Life's Summer 2026 Internship Program as an Actuarial Intern and support various actuarial teams across different departments. Present findings to internal audiences, manage projects, and create process documentation. Actively participate in internship activities to learn about the actuarial profession. Requirements

Working towards bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related technical field

Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial principles to analyze results, with direction from manager
• Use various technical tools to accomplish work within the team’s functional area, such as Microsoft Excel, VBA, SQL, R, and AXIS actuarial modeling software
• Produce files and result summaries that are professional and communicate information effectively
• Occasionally present summaries of work to internal audiences
• Manage assigned tasks and projects to completion
• Create or maintain process documentation and instructions for tasks performed
• Actively participate in summer internship activities to learn about the actuarial profession and other teams at F&G

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 actuarial exams passed preferred, with an interest in pursuing FSA
• Prior exposure to Fixed Indexed Annuity, Universal Life, Pension Risk Transfer, or similar insurance products preferred but not required
• Exposure to AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software preferred
