Support the Legal Department-Policy, Government and Public Affairs team by developing communication materials for global, federal, state, and local policymakers. This remote position reports to the Vice President, Policy, Government and Public Affairs and involves occasional travel. Responsibilities include developing communication deliverables, supporting external communication pieces, supporting global policy communications, and supporting a political footprint database project. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, proficiency in MS applications, strong communication skills, vendor management abilities, and exceptional teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • Current bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare or Public Policy-related work
  • Proficiency in MS applications such as Power Point, Word, and Excel
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write clearly and effectively
  • Ability to manage vendor contractor activity on time-sensitive deadlines
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills with internal colleagues and external vendors

Responsibilities

  • Develop communication deliverables on rare disease education modules and materials, including video development and working with communication colleagues
  • Support the development of customized external communication pieces for key local, state and federal activity
  • Support the global policy communications and talking points with key country colleagues
  • Support our political footprint database project, including developing ex-US footprint project documents
