Summary

The job is for a motivated Trading Intern at Hex Trust, a digital asset custodian. The intern will assist in refining trading strategies, write and optimize code, conduct data analysis, interact with clients, and stay informed about market conditions. This role requires a strong background in computer science or quantitative finance.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficient in Python, Rust, or C++. Experience with financial modeling or algorithmic development is highly valued
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex market data
• Understanding of financial markets and instruments, with a specific interest in cryptocurrencies and trading
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to synthesize complex information and ideas into digestible written form
• Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently under pressure

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of both client-focused and proprietary trading strategies
• Write and optimize high-quality code to improve our trading and operational platforms, enhancing efficiency and responsiveness
• Conduct detailed market and trade data analysis to identify trends, forecast market movements, and provide insights for strategy refinement
• Occasionally interact with clients to understand their needs and help provide tailored trading solutions
• Stay informed about market conditions, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the cryptocurrency space, and write regular market updates for distribution to our clients
