Intern Visual Designer, Netherlands

Summary

This internship is for a User Interface Design Intern to work with DEPT® in the Netherlands. The intern will support current projects, design interfaces, create prototypes, and more. The ideal candidate has relevant experience, is proficient in Figma and Adobe Suite, and is passionate about visual design.

Requirements

• Living and studying in the Netherlands
• Passionate/crazy/nuts about visual design
• Proactive attitude
• Specific passion and relevant experience in crafting User Interfaces and digital experiences
• Keen eye for typography, color schemes, visual hierarchy, and design rationales
• Experience in working with leading design tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite
• Available from September 2024 for 32 or 40 hours a week for 5-6 months

Responsibilities

• Actively support current projects for various clients
• Designing responsive interfaces based on wireframes made by a UX designer
• Design of creative concepts, daily content, designing Keynote presentations and various animations
• Crafting interactive prototypes and best of class UI animations
• Transforming a visual identity into a usable interface for a website or app

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with animation software like Jitter or Principle
• Get excited working with and building up Style Guides, Component Variations and Design Systems
