Internal IT Auditor

Summary

Join our team as an Internal Audit Specialist and contribute to the success of a leading digital investment platform in Europe. As a key member of our internal audit team, you will be responsible for conducting audits in IT/ISMS areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field
• First professional experience in the financial sector (e.g., at a bank or a reputable auditing firm)
• Experience with internal audits in the finance sector (ideally from auditing or internal revision)
• Knowledge of IT/ISMS audit procedures and familiarity with relevant guidelines and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, EBA guidelines, BSI standards, DORA/BAIT)
• Certification as CISA or another relevant certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• High sense of responsibility, especially when handling sensitive data/information
• Good social and communication skills, particularly the ability to handle potential conflict situations
• Careful, systematic, independent, and practical working style
• Ability to quickly grasp new topics
• Willingness to stay up-to-date on developments in the industry and regulatory requirements
• High sense of responsibility, reliability, and trustworthiness as a team player
• Fluent German and English language skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits in IT/ISMS areas
• Prepare audit reports, document examination procedures, communicate results, and monitor the implementation of derived measures
• Support the continuous improvement of internal revision processes
• Collaborate closely with other departments (including Engineering, Product, Operations)
