Summary

The job is a 3-month remote contract for a Web Application Migration project requiring skills in managing IIS on Windows Server, troubleshooting web applications, and experience with Azure DevOps. The role offers opportunities to showcase automation skills using PowerShell.

Requirements

• IIS experience on Windows Server (working with application pools)
• Manage IIS server security and access within Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, & firewalls

Responsibilities

• Take part in enterprise web application migration
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot web applications on IIS webservers
• Set up Azure DevOps pipelines for deploying web apps to IIS servers
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage IIS settings and configurations
• Integrate Azure with monitoring tools to track IIS performance and set up alerts
• Deploy websites & manage SSL certificates
• Automate tasks with PowerShell
• Monitor performance & tune servers

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Server+, or similar certifications
