Requirements
- Experience and knowledge typically acquired by studies in engineering, construction management, or related disciplines is required
- Self-confidence, a proactive nature, and the ability to work independently and as an effective team player who can harmoniously work with all project participants are required
- A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to the office and/or client site is required
- Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen
- Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form
Responsibilities
- Support the Owner’s Project Management (OPM) team in overseeing the planning, design, and construction of educational facilities
- Assist with documentation, meeting coordination, and communication between school administrators, architects, and contractors
- Participate in site visits, project meetings, and help monitor schedules, budgets, and compliance with educational building standards
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates local to the Southeastern, MA, and Northeastern, RI area are strongly preferred
