Investment Intern

Summary

The job is an Investment Internship at Novo Holdings Asia in Singapore for a curious and motivated individual to support the venture, growth, and principal investment opportunities across life sciences and planetary health sectors. The intern will be part of the Investment team based in Singapore and will have core tasks such as contributing to financial analysis, helping to shape investment themes, conducting industry research, and collecting, structuring, and efficiently communicating information on potential or existing investments.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in either a Bachelor's or Master's program
• Strong academic results
• Prior relevant internship experience at a Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Financial Services company
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
• Proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Contributing to financial analysis of potential investment cases through valuation models
• Helping to shape investment themes through primary and secondary industry research
• Conducting industry research on potential investments and the markets they operate in
• Collecting, structuring, and efficiently communicating information on potential or existing investments

Preferred Qualifications

• Keen interest in the sustainable development ecosystem as well as technology
• Fluency in English (Mandarin is an advantage)
• Ability to work independently and with a high degree of personal initiative and integrity
• Strong team player with a high level of commitment and outstanding analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong financial analysis, writing, and presentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail, capable of producing work that is thorough and organized
