Join New Energy Nexus Ventures, a fast-growing international organization, as an Investment Manager based remotely in Vietnam, Indonesia, or the Philippines. Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Accounting
- Strong understanding of the market dynamics and startup ecosystem in either Vietnam, Indonesia, or the Philippines
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem partners
- Experience working with impact measurement frameworks
- Network within either of Vietnam, Indonesia or the Philippines’ startup and investment community
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
- Work ethics to collaborate with a desire to grow and learn and possess a can-do attitude as well as attention to details
- Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills in both local language (native) and English (fluent)
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity, organizational, prioritization and time-management skills
- Independent and adept in remote teamwork setting involving collaboration in multi-cultural environment
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and manage impact data from portfolio companies to measure progress against sustainability metrics
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned portfolio companies
- Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies to accelerate their growth
- Screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities across the climate tech ecosystem in Southeast Asia
- Facilitate communication and manage engagements with current and prospective limited partners
- Support the development of fundraising materials and pitch decks for future funds
- Assist in preparing quarterly reports and updates for limited partners
- Help maintain strong relationships with the investor community
- Contribute to the fund's overall investment strategy and thesis development
- Collaborate with team members to refine investment processes and workflows
- Stay current on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments
- Represent the fund at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
