Summary

Join Flipster, a cutting-edge crypto trading platform, and contribute to the development and maintenance of our Apple platform applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and enhance application performance. This individual contributor role requires strong Swift programming skills and experience with iOS native app development. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Apple platforms and technologies, along with a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly applications. Experience with published commercial apps is essential, with additional preference given to those familiar with financial products and blockchain technology. The hiring process involves a resume submission, homework assignment, and multiple technical interviews.

Requirements

• Possess technical ability to design & implement feature intentions into reliable & efficient code
• Demonstrate strong programming, design & development skills in Swift
• Show strong interest in soft/firm real-time apps & optimizations for it
• Be an Enthusiast Apple user who knows what Apple users want with proper aesthetic sense & taste
• Have the ability to work autonomously in distributed remote teams with asynchronous communication. (near Seoul time zone)
• Have the ability to work in Korean speaking environment
• Have the ability to communicate in English. (at least in written form)
• Show interest in learning some Rust
• For junior to intermediate level engineers, possess high energy and desire in iOS native app development to build great iOS apps
• For junior to intermediate level engineers, have experience in production for published commercial apps with backend services
• For senior level engineers, possess excellent programming, design & development skills in Swift
• For senior level engineers, have experience in production for published large-scale commercial apps
• For senior level engineers, have experience in building apps with complicated and performant Apple native UI/UX
• For senior level engineers, possess a deep understanding of Apple platforms & technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain softwares mainly for Apple platforms for our exchange
• Work together with cross-functional teams to define, design, test, and ship features
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance & reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an understanding of financial derivatives products, exchange and trading platforms, blockchain, software development and business
• Possess proficiency in reading and understanding Rust code at an intermediate level
