Ios Technical Lead I

Summary

Join HubSpot's Mobile Hubspot team as a Technical Lead and contribute to the development of world-class mobile products. You will design and solve problems in large, distributed systems, spending approximately 70% of your time coding in Swift. This role requires experience in developing native iOS applications and familiarity with Swift, RxSwift, Combine, or reactive programming. Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers is preferred. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders, while maintaining a hands-on technical approach. Requirements

• Experience in developing fully featured native iOS applications that have been published to the App Store
• Familiarity with Swift programming language
• Familiarity with RxSwift, Combine, or reactive programming
• Advocacy for clean code and SOLID principles

Responsibilities

• Design and solve problems in large, distributed systems
• Spend approximately 70% of your time on hands-on coding using Swift
• Lead a team of engineers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with your team’s Product Manager and Product Designer as well as internal stakeholders
• Provide coaching and mentorship
• Develop solutions to problems that have had an outsized impact on the organization’s business goals
• Consistently demonstrate strong ownership of projects end to end, track record of successfully rolling out infrastructure, collaborating with multiple Engineering teams to deliver successful solutions
• Solve complicated technical problems and analyze trade-offs with empathy for the developers

Preferred Qualifications

• Some previous team, technical or pod lead experience is preferred - managing engineers or projects and taking responsibility for the team’s software design and delivery
• Coaching and mentorship experience
• General engineering experience outside of mobile
