Summary

The job is for a hardware testing position at PICA Product Development (PPD), an affiliate of PICA Manufacturing Solutions (PMS). The role involves testing hardware for functionality, reliability, power, and RF performance. The candidate should have a demonstrated interest in the relevant subjects, basic soldering and prototype building skills, schematic and print interpretation abilities, Excel skills, and C or RTOS programming experience.

Requirements

• A demonstrated interest in the relevant subjects through a combination of education and experience
• Basic soldering and prototype building skills
• Schematic and print interpretation abilities
• Excel and basic computer skills enabling the collection and analysis of experimental data

Responsibilities

Planning, running, and analyzing experiments to qualify hardware for functionality, reliability, power, and RF performance

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with an interest in developing embedded software skills will have demonstrated experience with C or RTOS programming and/or an appropriate level of post-secondary education
