Summary

Join our team as a senior Business Analyst in Prague! This hybrid role, working with an individual contractor agreement, requires a proactive approach and conceptual thinking to drive key changes in the bank's transformation program. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders. The position demands strong analytical and communication skills, experience in a banking environment, and proficiency in English. Long-term collaboration is expected, with a start date in January 2025. The role involves a minimum of 80% FTE allocation.

  • Proactive approach (in obtaining information, determining priorities and further procedures, solving tasks)
  • Communication and organizational skills – ability to effectively communicate with the bank's business units and IT roles, plan and conduct meetings and workshops
  • Ability to negotiate constructively and reach agreements
  • Experience in business and/or IT architecture

Responsibilities

  • Identify business needs and transform them into business requirements aligned with the program's vision and goals
  • Analyze, prioritize, and validate business requirements across stakeholders, ensuring their approval
  • Take responsibility for the design of solutions in the assigned area, ensuring content consistency and quality
  • Collaborate on the development of analytical artifacts that feed into IT analysis and development
  • Consult on requirements with business stakeholders, including Business Architects, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Technical Designers, and Operations
  • Estimate workload for all involved roles in the analysis phase and reflect this in project timing
  • Provide consulting support during project phases: architectural design, IT analysis, design, development, and testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to further develop and train junior colleagues
  • Experience working with a CASE Tool (e.g., Enterprise Architect)
  • Knowledge of UML and object-oriented analysis
  • Active knowledge of Confluence, JIRA
  • Experience working in agile and waterfall environments
  • Willingness to actively help internal partners and find solutions for them
  • Ability to coordinate the delivery of a smaller analytical team within a project
  • Knowledge and experience in one of the following domains: product catalogue, product lifecycle management, pricing, billing
  • Knowledge of banking products (especially current/savings/term accounts, loans, cards, and others)
  • Experience with solutions based on microservice architecture
  • Experience with integration and cloud projects
