You will assist the Director of Information Security & Technology in implementing and managing Okta-based identity solutions, endpoint management, and SaaS/tools management. This hybrid role requires a strong background in IT support, IAM, and endpoint management, with experience in Okta, Google Workspace, and Atlassian's product suite. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in IT Support and IT Engineering roles. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT Support and IT Engineering roles with preference for additional experience in SaaS Ops/Corporate Applications positions
  • Proven track record administering and integrating access/identity management tools with a primary focus on Okta. Experience with Okta Workflows (or similar), Google Workspace, EntraID are required
  • Deep understanding of Atlassian’s product suite such as Jira Service Management and experience implementing an effective help desk to serve internal users
  • Experience with deploying and operating security tools such as (CrowdStrke, Material Security, Datadog, OSquery)
  • Experience working with endpoint management stacks (Jamf Pro, GitHub)
  • Experience with supporting and maintaining office networks (Cisco Meraki preferred)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6
  • Experience with a Cloud-First architecture (zero trust, nothing on-premise)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve technical issues and problems while also documenting all steps taken for resolution
  • Knowledge of information security management system compliance (e.g. NIST, SOC2, ISO27001)
  • Rigor to work at a highly regulated financial entity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both engineering and non-engineering audiences with customer focus and problem solving mentality
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize automation over manual processes

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Information Security & Technology in implementing, and managing Okta-based identity solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems and applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their identity and access needs, providing expert guidance and customized solutions
  • Maintain the Company’s macOS/Windows fleet throughout their lifecycle to include initial deployment, application and operating system patching, and vulnerability management
  • Provide expert level guidance in managing the Company’s MDM platforms
  • Assist the Director of Information Security & Technology in architecting/administering the Company’s third-party SaaS platforms
  • Provide guidance to internal teams regarding automating manual tasks and integrating disparate platforms to improve functionality for fellow Altonians
  • Assist the Director of Information Security & Technology in managing the security posture of all managed endpoints
  • Assist the Director of Information Security & Technology in managing Alto’s security tooling, ensuring proper deployment and monitoring. Examples include EDR, email security, and CASB platforms
  • Support the Company’s equipment warehousing, inventory, and logistics efforts to ensure the lifecycle of a device is tracked and maintained
  • Proactively address the Company’s physical, in-office, and remote IT needs, both on a ticketing basis and proactively resolving issues as part of the day-to-day
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues pertaining to IT hardware, software, enterprise systems and networking
  • Share your passion for technology and teach internal users how to best interact with and utilize technology, providing support as needed via face to face interaction, chat, email, video conference, and phone
  • Maintain standards, procedures, security controls and documentation related to areas of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Okta Certified Professional/Administrator, Jamf Certified Tech/Expert/Admin
  • Ability to automate through scripting or coding to fill in reliability or scalability gaps
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
