IT Engineer

Summary

Join YipitData, a leading market research and analytics firm, as an IT Engineer to build and maintain technical infrastructure for rapid growth and scaling. The role involves administering and troubleshooting systems, researching and implementing new solutions, managing laptop inventory, and working with security and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in a modern IT environment and are comfortable maintaining and supporting SaaS tools, a remote work environment, and have a working knowledge of MacOS
• Know how to automate aspects of our IT environment using code (ex. Shell scripts, Python)

Responsibilities

• Remotely administer and troubleshoot systems (Mac OS laptops, MDM, software, Cloud SaaS, networking gear, etc.)
• Support systems including but not limited to Kandji, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, Slack, Zoom, Okta, and more
• Research and implement new solutions for technical challenges (processes, file storage, device management, access permissions, etc.)
• Manage laptop inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and upkeep of all devices
• Work with our Security and Infrastructure teams to implement security policies
• Work with IT vendors
• Maintain an IT asset list
• Proactively create and update documentation and training pertaining to IT-related processes/resolutions, and assist in developing policy documents regarding internal policies and external compliance requirements
