Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in materials science, welding, mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
  • 6+ months of hands-on engineering experience (including internships, laboratory, engineering student teams, hobbies)
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Hawthorne, CA

Responsibilities

  • Apply your prior knowledge to real world applications in the space industry
  • Work collaboratively with a talented team of experienced and diverse engineers
  • Develop all aspects of laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) additive manufacturing
  • Innovate new additive applications, platforms, and materials to expand printing capabilities
  • Work cross functionally with design, analysis, testing, materials, and responsible engineers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic startup environment
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for 3D modeling and simulation
