Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Support, preferably in a legal or professional services environment in an international setting
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Windows/MacOS systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and network management
  • Experience with VoIP systems and remote access tools (e.g., VPN, etc)
  • Familiarity with legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, Practice Panther, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other office hardware
  • Resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Install, update, and support legal software applications (e.g., case management systems, billing software)
  • Assist with the integration of new software tools and ensure compatibility with existing systems
  • Monitor and maintain network security to safeguard client confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with legal industry regulations regarding data privacy and cybersecurity
  • Provide help desk support to attorneys and staff for IT-related issues
  • Train team members on best practices and new technologies
  • Assist in researching and purchasing hardware and software solutions tailored to the firm’s needs
  • Coordinate with vendors for support and equipment maintenance
  • Implement and manage backup systems to protect critical firm data
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
  • Support the creation and enforcement of IT policies, including email, internet usage, and device management
