IT Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

Join MGID, a leading native advertising company, as an IT Infrastructure Engineer. You will maintain and optimize the company's IT systems, supporting various operating systems and managing servers, networks, and security tools. Responsibilities include preparing workspaces, resolving IT requests, liaising with suppliers, managing equipment and licenses, and conducting infrastructure audits. The ideal candidate possesses 1+ years of system administration/IT service management experience and expertise in maintaining computer equipment, installing and configuring operating systems, and troubleshooting network issues. Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a system administrator/IT service manager
• Experience and knowledge in maintenance of computer equipment
• Experience in installing and configuring OS (MacOS, Microsoft, Linux)
• Knowledge of office software (user support and consultation)
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux-like systems
• Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of the local network and network equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer hardware, network devices, and remote administration
• Knowledge of network protocol principles (VLAN, SNMP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, TCP)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health of the company's IT infrastructure
• Install and configure MacOS, Linux and Windows applications
• Prepare workplace for new employees
• Support Linux and Windows servers
• Maintain, modernize, provide technical support, configure and design the local network
• Communicate with suppliers of equipment and IT services
• Purchase computer equipment and applications/licenses
• Account for computer equipment
• Audit IT infrastructure in order to optimize it
• Manage MDM and security tools
• Consult company employees on technical issues, resolve user’s IT requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jamf or other MDM solutions
• Experience with Inventory software
• Experience with Google Workspace
