Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience managing IT infrastructure
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Experience managing complex fleets of hardware and various operating systems
  • Experience working with Kandji, Ninja One, Intune or related MDM software
  • Experience with endpoint security solutions like Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne
  • Experience with IAM services like OneLogin, Okta, Auth0, AWS IAM, etc
  • Experience with project management, case management and agile methodologies
  • Experience integrating with HR tools like BambooHR, Trinet, Workday, etc
  • Experience upleveling an organization through integrating new technologies, driving innovation, and improving operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a dynamic team, providing the guidance needed to keep Collective’s operations running smoothly and efficiently
  • Shape the Future: Develop and implement IT programs that not only address the needs of today but anticipate the challenges of tomorrow as we continue to grow
  • Empower the Team: Ensure that our global workforce has the tools and support they need, with seamless access to the systems that power our business
  • Innovate: Identify and deploy cutting-edge technologies that improve productivity and security across our organization
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with stakeholders across Collective to understand their needs and deliver tailored IT solutions that drive success
  • Drive Decisions: Utilize metrics and reporting to drive decision-making, continually assessing and improving the IT department’s case management process
  • Oversee IT Infrastructure: Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, access, data security, with a strong, informed perspective to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Cross collaboration: Represent IT in cross functional initiatives (e.g., SOC II Compliance), from initial planning to execution and delivery. Projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget
  • Compliance and Security: Develop and enforce security procedures to safeguard Collective’s data and assets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security policies
  • Operations Management: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IT department, including time-to-resolution, system uptime, and security compliance
  • Onboarding/Offboarding Excellence: Partner closely with HR, Legal and other department leads to continually evolve our onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, contractors, temp workers. Ensure smooth transitions and maintaining security and data integrity
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors, ensuring timely procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT assets
  • Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet the organization’s needs while staying within financial constraints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s/bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, network engineering or related field
  • Python or other scripting languages
  • Passion for security and compliance, following the latest in cybersecurity trends and best practices
  • Experience in high-growth fintech startups
