IT Security Manager

Summary

Join our IT Security & Operations team as a hands-on IT Manager! This full-time remote individual contributor role, based in the Philippines, is perfect for a self-starter comfortable managing critical IT operations, with a strong focus on Google Workspace administration, access management, email and Zoom troubleshooting, and user support. You will collaborate closely with our US-based team, adhering to security protocols and IT standards. This contractor position offers the potential to transition into a full-time role. The role involves managing user access, supporting IT security operations, troubleshooting user accounts across various platforms, and providing technical support. A strong understanding of IT security best practices and experience supporting US-based teams remotely are essential.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in IT operations or management roles
• Strong experience with Google Workspace administration
• Familiarity with Zoom, Slack, Okta, Jira, and other SaaS tools
• Understanding of IT security best practices and access control
• Experience supporting US-based teams from a remote international setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and service-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Handle user provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access, and privileged account management
• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal IT security policies and tools
• Maintain and troubleshoot user accounts across Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other platforms
• Manage user setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Zoom and Gmail systems
• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for users, resolving issues across apps, endpoints, and systems
• Maintain internal IT documentation and suggest workflow improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Skills in scripting or automation (e.g., Google Apps Script, Bash, Python)
• Prior work experience in startups or high-growth tech environments
