IT Security Specialist

Summary

Join Constructor's IT and Security team as a remote employee and contribute to maintaining our global IT infrastructure and security compliance. You will configure and ship laptops, troubleshoot IT issues, monitor systems, and enhance IT systems to support our growing employee base. Collaboration with the CISO on security compliance and assisting with security audits are key aspects of this role. Requirements

• Have experience maintaining computer systems, either within an organization or with friends and family
• Have experience with computer peripherals and software configuration
• Enjoy working with people to help solve their problems
• Be a creative problem solver

Responsibilities

• Configure and ship laptops to/from Constructor employees
• Troubleshoot IT issues
• Monitor IT systems and react to problems
• Enhance IT systems to support our expanding employee base
• Work with our CISO to maintain security compliance systems
• Help collect evidence for ongoing security audits

Preferred Qualifications

• Have familiarity with Jamf, Okta, Azure, Slack/Teams, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Google Meet, and/or Zoom
• Be experienced with remote management of an enterprise workforce (completely remote) and familiar with MacOS and Apple technologies
• Have a physical space that is conducive to storing laptops in between user assignment
• Have some familiarity with global shipping and customs with DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc
• Be comfortable nudging customer support agents and managing tickets in external vendor support platforms
• Have experience with password managers and general laptop security principles
