Security Specialist Junior

Summary

Join our team as an Entry Level Security Specialist and support the administration of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP). Assist in security management, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with established policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and maintain sensitive information integrity.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must obtain Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within one year of employment and maintain certification throughout employment
• At least 2 years of recent and relevant experience in security management or related fields

Responsibilities

• Support the security administration of SCI and SAP under close supervision
• Assist in the security and administrative management of assigned SCI and SAP
• Contribute to the implementation of security measures, considering personnel security, physical security, operations security, and communications security
• Help ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures
