IT Solutions Architect

Summary

Requirements

• A degree in a related field (such as an MBA in Business, Computer Science, or Programming) or an industry-recognized qualification in Business Analysis, System Architecture, or Project Management
• Proven experience in designing IT solutions and a solid IT/computer science background
• Exposure to project management and experience working in structured projects
• Familiarity with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business model
• Experience in modeling and mapping business processes
• Knowledge of budget planning and financial forecasting
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence others
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure within tight timeframes
• Strong logical and objective thinking abilities
• Demonstrable knowledge of business process mapping, business systems design, IT architecture, software development methodologies, contact center software solutions, unified communications solutions, and big data/data mining technologies

Responsibilities

• Consult with internal and external customers to investigate, analyze, and model business activities and problems, recommending appropriate IT solutions
• Utilize the requirements engineering process to ensure that requirements are complete, unambiguous, realistic, and testable
• Leverage advanced IT resources to create and implement effective IT solutions
• Communicate solutions clearly to all stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and technical staff
• Model and evaluate business processes for existing and prospective customers
• Collaborate with business leaders to align the IT roadmap with business strategy, incorporating the latest trends in service technology
• Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and project budget planning
