IT Support Specialist

Summary

Join Pachama as an IT Support Specialist and contribute to the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. This fully remote contract position, ideally in PT/ET time zones, involves maintaining computer networks, providing technical support, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will install and configure hardware and software, monitor systems, and create a standard ticketing system. You will also help onboard new hires, manage equipment procurement, and streamline IT processes. Pachama uses AI and satellite data to empower companies to invest in nature, and this role is crucial to our mission.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of working experience in IT support
• Experience with SOC 2 security compliance
• Experience using Google Cloud, as well as working with MacOS
• Experience with communications tools like Zoom and Slack
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong trouble shooting and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Help run the installation and configuring of computer hardware, software, systems and networks
• Monitor and maintain employee computer systems and network functioning
• Create a standard ticketing system and respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Provide virtual technical support across the company
• Help onboard new hires by setting up accounts for new users
• Coordinate the procurement and replacement of equipment as needed
• Set up our internal IT process and ensure devices are secure and protected
• Help streamline the off-boarding process
• Log bugs and enhancement requests
