IT Tester

Summary

Join our team as a Data Lake/Data Warehouse Tester! This role requires a highly skilled QA Tester with experience in ETL/Data Migration testing within the Azure Databricks and Synapse ecosystem. You will be proficient in SQL and Databricks, responsible for developing and executing test plans and cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing, along with experience in a large enterprise environment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Hands on in SQL, Databricks
• 3+ years of experience in ETL/Data Migration, Data Lake and Data warehousing Testing
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing
• Experience in a large, enterprise environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for in ETL/Data Migration testing in Azure Databricks and Synapse
• Create and maintain test scripts in Python
• Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases
• Identify, analyze and report defects found during testing
• Validate and verify data accuracy and completeness
• Drive UAT testing with collaboration by ensuring clear communication and regular feedback
• Participate in project planning and estimation
• Write and maintain technical documentation
