Summary
Join Two Six Technologies as a part-time QA Test Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge cyberspace capabilities. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual tests, collaborating with development and field operations teams, and documenting defects. This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience, 5 years of experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office products, and a strong understanding of IT systems. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Requirements
- Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 year of experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, and problem solving
- Familiarity with UNIX / LINUX-based operating systems
- Solid grasp of technical writing and documentation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Responsibilities
- Performs software product testing and investigates possible causes of problems
- Develops functional end-to-end regression tests in manual test environments
- Detects and writes software defect reports and feature requests
- Understands, reproduces, troubleshoots product defects and works with developers to determine the best resolution
Preferred Qualifications
- Military cyber experience or understanding of common military or cyber vernacular
- Experience with SQL or other basic database technologies
- Familiarity with virtualization and/or cloud technologies such as Docker, vSphere, Ansible, or AWS
- Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience refining low-level testing or configuration scripts using Bash, Python, or Javascript
