Java Software Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Java Software Developer in Kragujevac or Belgrade, Serbia. In this role, you will be accountable for all parts of the software development lifecycle for your projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java
• Working expertise in any other object-orientated programming language would be a plus
• Good Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Ideally, also have experience in highly scalable and distributed systems and handling of distributed transactions, data sharing and partitioning
• Experience using a Version Control System (GIT)
• Knowledge of RESTful API services
• Working experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in development using CI/CD
• Good written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications and services
• Write effective APIs
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions and collaborating with support teams as needed
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the development team
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality and identifying areas for improvement
• Write technical documentation
