Java Software Engineer

Summary

Join Bellwood Labs, a dynamic Product Development Consultancy, as a Software Engineer (Java) to build and scale business-critical web products. Work alongside an experienced team building quality client products. This role reports to an Engineer Team Lead and offers the opportunity to leverage your talents and grow your skills. The position requires 3+ years of full-stack software development experience and experience building and scaling software products. Requirements

• Have 3+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Have experience building and scaling Software Products
• Have experience architecting and deploying Software Products to Cloud Providers like Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Azure
• Experience with Java / Spring Boot (C# / .NET experience may be considered)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, scale, and enhance Software Products, Apps, and Platforms based on Client Needs and Business Requirements
• Communicate Technical Topics clearly, in language that can be easily understood by Clients
• Collaborate with Designers, and Product Teams to propose solutions to meet the goals of Clients and their Products
• Define, refine, and document Best Practices that enable excellent team performance

Preferred Qualifications

• React, Go, or Python skills
• AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions
• A voracious appetite to learn and apply new skills
• Be skilled at building web-based software or mobile apps
• Excel at building software with different sets of tools and in different client environments
