Java Software Engineer

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in object-oriented design and software development using Java 8 and above
• 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services using Java, Spring based frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in Relational and/or NoSQL Database like Cosmos, Cassandra, etc
• Deep knowledge in Software architecture, Micro Services, Java based APIs and systems testing
• Experience monitoring and build automation tools including Splunk, Jenkins, and AppDynamics
• Knowledge of Test Automation and Behavior Driven Development

• Advocate for the use of cutting-edge technology to build intelligent and scalable products
• Act as a technology partner for our clients from inception to completion while architecting reusable front-end systems
• Understand client needs and translate requirements into world-class design
• Deliver high-quality applications
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams located across the world (Technical Writing, User Experience, Product Management, and Project Management) to solve challenging problems
• Build relationships and communicate directly with stakeholders
• Drive internal initiatives and objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building highly scalable, low latency, fault-tolerant, and high performance architecture solutions for customer facing web and mobile applications
• Experience with real time message processing using Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture
