Summary

The job is for a Senior Architect at Nisum, a global digital commerce firm. The role involves creating practical solutions, collaborating with senior leaders, working with development teams, and performing proof of concepts. The candidate should have 10+ years of design experience in Java's latest version, J2EE, Spring boot and Web Services Technologies, SOAP, and REST. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field is required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Design experience in Java's latest version, J2EE, Spring boot and Web Services Technologies, SOAP, and REST
• Good understanding of coding to attain good performance

Responsibilities

• Create practical solutions
• Collaborate with senior leaders and product managers
• Work directly with internal and partner development teams
• Perform various proof of concepts, systems & data analysis
• Apply systems thinking concepts
• Evaluate best-in-class toolsets/solutions
• Analyze data lineage and prepare Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and other Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams
• Provide architecture and design solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy domain experience preferred
• Understanding of Middleware like Kafka, and Event Hub
• Good understanding of coding for the asynchronous and synchronous processes
• Experience in messaging frameworks, NoSQL DBs, and AKS
• Experience in Java 8 or 11, with Spring Webflux and Reactive is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of architecture and technical components
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with building microservices using REST and SOAP/XML
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in various database technologies, including No SQL (such as MongoDB, Cassandra) and RDBMS (such as ORACLE, SQL Server), including experience with DML, DDL, and Query Optimization
• Hands-on experience with technologies like Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with In-Memory Datastore/Cache Experience (Redis or MemCache) is strongly preferred
• Significant experience with the entire software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile, Iterative)
• Significant experience in capacity planning, systems performance analysis, and optimization in a distributed client/server environment and experience in building Resilient Active/Active is strongly preferred
