Summary

Join our growing and dynamic finance team as a remote Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist within Canada. Utilize your excellent customer service, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our AR collections. This role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills, teamwork skills, a knack for learning things on your own, and proficient analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the AR inbox and distribute emails efficiently among team members
• Respond to customer emails regarding billing and collection matters
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer success teams, to resolve customer issues and improve billing and collections processes
• Own the recording and reconciliation of customer payments
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing related AR accounts
• Assist in monitoring overdue accounts and contribute to collection efforts while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Assist in projects related to the automation and process improvements of the AR team
