Junior Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• 1–2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a government contracting environment
• PROCAS accounting software experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in PROCAS
• Prepare and post journal entries, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Assist in the preparation of invoices and billing reports in compliance with FAR/DFARS and client contract terms
• Help maintain and reconcile project costs and indirect rate allocations using PROCAS
• Support the preparation of financial reports, account reconciliations, and audit documentation
