Junior Cloud Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience such as: Devops, SRE, Automation and Application Monitoring
• Knowledge and experience with AWS and other cloud computing technologies (a production environment is a plus)
• Familiarity with at least one of the following: Scripting and automation skills, preferably in Python and bash. Linux environments, Kubernetes, and relevant cloud technology stacks
• Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring/incident management tools such as JIRA, ZenDesk, Datadog, PagerDuty, Sentry, etc
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Terragrunt
• Familiarity with security tools (Wiz, Synopsis)
• Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and prioritize applicative and cloud-related issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Positive attitude, high energy, and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated, fast learner, and able to take responsibility

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor production environments, applications, and deployment pipelines for stability
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including R&D and security teams
• Hold two shifts a week in a 24/7 Monitoring Center, manage incident detection and resolution during the shifts
• Perform cloud operation tasks assigned by the DevOps group when not assigned to a monitoring shift
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability
• Operate cloud environments following company guidelines
• Monitor CI/CD processes and address ongoing issues
