Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript/React utilizing modern libraries and tooling
• Experience with RESTful APIs and a strong understanding of REST principles
• Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
• Experience with GitHub and NoSQL databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure
• Team-oriented with a business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and UI/UX wireframes into high-quality software
• Write test-driven, clean, and efficient code for new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Document programming-related information clearly
• Uphold full-stack engineering best practices
• Collaborate with team members, designers, and product managers to iterate on product design and implementation
• Design and develop scalable services to meet company needs
• Contribute to applications for the website, mobile app, and external client apps

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
• Knowledge of languages beyond JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
