Junior Counsel

Summary

Join Omnipresent, a global employment platform, as a Corporate and Commercial Counsel. You will be part of a team supporting the expansion and management of a group structure, negotiating contracts, and advising the business. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 0-5 years PQE in corporate/commercial law, strong contract drafting skills, and an operational mindset. Requirements

• Good academics - at degree level
• Qualified lawyer
• Ideal candidate 0-5 years PQE
• Experience in corporate/ commercial team in private practice OR in-house with equivalent function
• Strong contract drafting and review skills
• Loves to solve complex operational issues by building simple processes, identifying and using modern (digital) solutions to ensure a maximum degree of automation, replacing manual human interaction wherever possible
• Takes a flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change, and goes the extra mile in order to deliver on our customer commitments

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Corporate team of 3 lawyers and corporate associates across EMEA and APAC
• Support expansion and management of our group structure (60+ entities), including Co Sec management, corporate governance and regulatory filings
• Client and vendor contract negotiation and management
• Supporting our Legal Service Desk on Corporate team tickets - a wide variety of work. Ability to advise the business and stakeholders and drive solutions
• Project support - in respect of Company Objectives (incl. new products, M&A, debt raise, partnerships and other strategic initiatives)

Preferred Qualifications

• Employer of Record (EOR) or general employment law experience
• Experience in a start-up or SME
• An interest in technology, automation and innovation
• Collaborative mindset/ team player
• Inquisitive / problem solver
• Multiple languages
• Experience working across multiple regions / laws
