Summary
Join Omnipresent, a global employment platform, as a Corporate and Commercial Counsel. You will be part of a team supporting the expansion and management of a group structure, negotiating contracts, and advising the business. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 0-5 years PQE in corporate/commercial law, strong contract drafting skills, and an operational mindset. Requirements
- Good academics - at degree level
- Qualified lawyer
- Ideal candidate 0-5 years PQE
- Experience in corporate/ commercial team in private practice OR in-house with equivalent function
- Strong contract drafting and review skills
- Loves to solve complex operational issues by building simple processes, identifying and using modern (digital) solutions to ensure a maximum degree of automation, replacing manual human interaction wherever possible
- Takes a flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change, and goes the extra mile in order to deliver on our customer commitments
Responsibilities
- Be part of the Corporate team of 3 lawyers and corporate associates across EMEA and APAC
- Support expansion and management of our group structure (60+ entities), including Co Sec management, corporate governance and regulatory filings
- Client and vendor contract negotiation and management
- Supporting our Legal Service Desk on Corporate team tickets - a wide variety of work. Ability to advise the business and stakeholders and drive solutions
- Project support - in respect of Company Objectives (incl. new products, M&A, debt raise, partnerships and other strategic initiatives)
Preferred Qualifications
- Employer of Record (EOR) or general employment law experience
- Experience in a start-up or SME
- An interest in technology, automation and innovation
- Collaborative mindset/ team player
- Inquisitive / problem solver
- Multiple languages
- Experience working across multiple regions / laws
