Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Law or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a corporate legal setting, preferably with a focus in privacy, data protection, commercial contracts, corporate law or governance
- Experience within the AdTech industry or Technology sectors is a bonus
- Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a evolving and dynamic environment
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt responsibilities as needed
- Hold strong professional integrity and ethical standards
- Ability to work across multiple tasks with various stakeholders, holding and meeting deadlines
- English language working proficiency
Responsibilities
- Advise on matters related to data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations
- Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, terms of service, and data processing agreements
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and support the implementation of privacy by design and default principles
- Monitor regulatory developments in privacy law and update internal stakeholders on compliance requirements
- Provide legal support for contract management and ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership agreements
- Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, and other governance documents
- Assist in corporate compliance and governance activities, including annual filings, shareholder communications, and regulatory reporting
- Provide legal support for corporate matters
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Provide clear and concise legal advice to internal teams, including commercial, marketing, product development, and IT
- Support the legal and compliance team in handling various legal, privacy and compliance matters and projects
- Identify potential legal risks and support implementing solutions to mitigate them
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance programs and training for employees
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support legal and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
