Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field (internships or relevant projects are acceptable)
• Basic understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or R
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL concepts
• Willingness to learn about big data technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data warehousing solutions
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members
• A proactive attitude with a passion for data and technology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, clean, and transform data from various sources
• Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that facilitate data accessibility and usability
• Support the maintenance and optimization of existing data systems to ensure accurate and efficient data storage and retrieval
• Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot issues to improve data accuracy and reliability
• Participate in documenting data processes, workflows, and architecture to ensure knowledge sharing and team alignment
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the field of data engineering
